Steve Howell

As CFO at Red Kite Learning Trust Steve has helped grow Red Kite from small beginnings to being top-70 MAT with 13 schools, 8,500 students and a £54M turnover. Steve has used the commercial skills he learned as a management accountant with Unilever and Coca-Cola to steer Red Kite and its thriving Teaching School Alliance, now a Teaching School Hub to financial sustainability. Steve knows first-hand the challenge of building an organisation and growing capacity with limited resources. He is also a School Resource Management Advisor supporting other schools.
