Deborah McCarthy

Deborah McCarthy is the Head of Curriculum at Academies Enterprise Trust, a multi-academy Trust of 57 academies across primary, secondary and special phases. Deborah’s role is focused on supporting schools to develop curriculum excellence and she is particularly interested in how to lead sustainable curriculum change and effective teacher development at scale.  Formerly a teacher and head of mathematics, as well as a school improvement advisor and PD lead, Deborah is passionate about making high quality mathematics teaching accessible to all.
