Giglets

Giglets supercharges literacy and language learning in more than 500 schools with its accessible and engaging online platform of multilingual texts, and curriculum-aligned resources, for children aged 3-14.

The rich range of 1300+ texts in 38+ languages are a gateway to a new reading experience for pupils – developed in partnership with schools, to support teachers in delivering an engaging and accessible learning experience for every child. Giglets supports reading for pleasure in school and at home, guided group reading, whole-class reading, and independent reading.

All learners benefit from enhanced features to support learning and teaching, engagement, accessibility and inclusion. These include:

1)Accessible reader with choice of dyslexic-friendly fonts in eight sizes, and ten background colours.

2)Enhanced texts with features including theme music, illustration, audio and animation.

3)Reading comprehension and higher-order thinking questions, as well as cross-curricular tasks aligned to the learning outcomes of the curricula of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
