Dr Trevor Male

Dr Trevor Male is an Associate Professor in the Centre for Educational Leadership, UCL Institute of Education where he is Programme Leader for the MBA in Educational Leadership (International).   Since 2017 he has been researching the way in which multi-academy trusts operate.  To date, he has presented papers at five international conferences, written an online briefing note for the UCL Centre for Educational Leadership and, in the last year, published two papers in peer reviewed journals.   The focus of his current research is to investigate how MATs function and, in particular, the relationships between members, trustees, trust employees and local governing committees.
