Lydia Davison

I am a teacher who has specialised in Key Stage 2 in primary schools in Leicester City and Leicestershire. Throughout my teaching career, I have specialised in Maths, with a particular focus on the use of the use of manipulatives, mainly Numicon, in Key Stage 2. This has led to subsequent work alongside Oxford University Press, for the team of primary consultants. Within my current role at Newbold Verdon Primary School, I am Achievement Leader. With oversight of the curriculum and teaching and learning, I have focused staff training on the Science of Learning and adaptive teaching strategies which support learning to happen and knowledge to be remembered. I have most recently stepped into the role of ECT mentor and instructional coach.
